App should maintain state for a period on exit
Wormy's Recycled Books
The app should maintain state information for a period, say 30 min, after exiting, especially unexpected exits such as while making a listing.
When the app is closed or backgrounded, when returned to the foreground it should return to the state it was in before being removed from the foreground, or at least provide that as an option ("You were creating a listing when the app was closed. Would you like to continue?"). Alternatively, the app should ask to save state before closing ("I see you're working on a listing. Would you like to save it as a draft?").

David Kalt Incredible! Thanks!
Wormy's Recycled Books
David Kalt HELP! Still major bugs in this! I posted 17 books today (take pics in app, save as draft, finish on web interface). When I hit the posting button in the web interface, all my listings disappeared! Not visible in the app, nor web interface. Not under either drafts nor live. Some counts show the almost proper count amount (351, s/b 342), others show old (325). I have a feeling my data is out that somewhere. Can it be restored? They was several hours of work. Thanks much!

Wormy's Recycled Books Sorry to hear this news. I will take a look ASAP, and get back to you via email.

David Kalt You did and the PB team was awesome in fixing the issue promptly and restoring my data!

Leaving a comment because this has been planned forever and is desperately needed.

DRAFTS!!!

Please let me save a deaft of a listing I'm creating. I have literally cried before when the app crashes or I accidentally click off the app and all my progress is erased on a listing I was making. This is such a basic feature I don't understand how it's not a part of the app.

And even better would be having a bulk listing feature on a desktop.

I'd take this one step further by allowing sellers to save a TEMPLATE. Right now, I limit my comments to avoid typing so much on each listing. If I could save a "draft" of my general comments that would apply to any listing, it would be great!

K Sams My workaround is that on my phone, I use the GBoard keyboard that lets me save/pin text to the clipboard. I've saved some of my most common comments so I can easily paste them in the listing.

David Kalt Thanks! Are you planning to implement the "save a draft" or the template feature, or both? (I just listed a booksleeve. Since it's a non-book item, I had to type more information than usual. Without the ability to save a template or clone a listing, I'm not sure I'll ever get around to adding additional book sleeves. Or bookmarks. Or bookish stickers...)

David Kalt - This has been "planned" for over a year, based on your 3/31/25 post. How long does it take? I'm a tech pro, and I know this sort of change does not take over a year to implement.

Wormy's Recycled Books I agree on the surface it should be a simple fix (I'm CEO and CTO - so I write the code). It involves keeping draft mode separate from listings so that search and other key areas are not impacted. That being said, it's long over due and I will get working on it today and hope to have in a release next week... thanks for your patience.

David Kalt: Thanks for the quick reply! It's very reassuring to know these feeds are actually monitored and taken to heart.
Those are both rather large hats to wear, so thanks for sharing. I'll definitely keep that in mind with future requests. As a former techie I was more used to an environment where if a change took over 90 days rears were dragged over coals and heads rolled.
Thanks so much for the great work on the platform so far, I eagerly await what new improvements are coming.

Wormy's Recycled Books: Thanks for pushing me. Built it yesterday, released today. Appreciate you keeping on it.

Second this. I've been waiting 10 minutes because some reason my cover picture won't upload, but every other one did, and I can't clear that one and replace it, and it won't time out to try again.
